Safety, in layers
An agent that can use a computer needs guard rails. Dark Terminal has several, and each works on its own.
The layers
- An isolated desk per account: each account works on its own computer, walled off from every other account.
- Harmful commands blocked: commands that could damage the machine, turn off protection or reach files that are not yours are refused.
- Private browsing: desks browse through a privacy network that hides the machine's address and blocks known malware and phishing sites.
- Sealed credentials: passwords are encrypted in your browser for the one machine that needs them.
- You approve what matters: set your account to ask first, and anything risky waits for your tap.
- Everything logged: every instruction and result is recorded, so you can always see what happened.
The agent never types your passwords. It stops and asks you.
