Privacy policy

Dark Terminal gives you an AI agent with its own cloud computer. This page explains what we keep to make that work. Last updated 2026-10-30.

What we store

• Account: your email address, a sign-in ID, and your password as a salted scrypt hash (never the password itself). If you use Continue with Google we receive your Google account ID, email and name, and nothing else from your Google account.
• Sessions: a hash of your sign-in cookie, the IP address and browser name it was created from, and the time of your last sign-in.
• Your work: the messages you send the agent in normal threads, files you upload, files the agent creates, and your schedules, so you can come back to them.
• Private chat: only a count of messages is kept; the content is never written to storage.
• Logs: security events such as failed sign-ins and password resets.

Why

To sign you in, run the tasks you ask for, show your history, keep the service secure and send account emails (confirmation and password reset links). We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Who else handles it

• Resend sends our account emails. Google handles Continue with Google sign-in. Cloudflare carries traffic to the site.
• Your tasks are processed by the AI model provider that powers the agent.

Deleting your data

Email contact@jayadevrana.com from the address on your account and we will delete the account and everything stored with it within 30 days.
